Golfing ‘Wisdom’ of the Day

The day , the play –
With Friday being the beginning of Eid public holidays and the long long weekend ahead the Jaws Friday game was played on a Thursday afternoon at Sedayu.
Great weather greeted the 25 Sharks participating for bragging rights besides the top 5 taking the moolah and fun golf
Craig a late entrant was out for a good fun round with Doug and Steve hitting it long off the tee and Craig making some key putts and straight into the moolah in 5th place…
Prannoy and Emil, both long hitters were driving well today making all par 4 and 5 looks easy but the short game was not to be both shooting rounds way above par. Roger played steady but the course still got the better of him with a gross 89 and Divya started well and also made a birdie but after hole 7 came undone with a gross 93.
On the other hand Stephanie playing along with BIG DOG Kevin and Booming Drives Nick Goodwin, closed the first nine well and went after the back 9 with vengeance getting her into 4th place on count back (shared 3rd nett).
Bobby the dodger had it coming with Minn , Eric and Jim , all colluding to tank the bandit and succeeding finally leading to Minn ( from Singapore) , no no he is more English than Kevin, no no he is Burmese , phew never mind) in shared 3rd place. Well Played Minn !
Laurie playing along with Laurent , new Sharks Albert and Patrick ( welcome boys- we hope to see more of you ) had a forgetful day thinking about beautiful Sentul where he now resides and missing the treacherous mountain courses there.
A BIG SHOUT and thanks to Kevin for helping with the announcements ! An awesome mate , and a big dawg with a booming voice !
Max playing along with Luca and Arne were the first to tee off and had a fun day of golf, the course being packed and with a 5 ball ahead slowed us all down considerably
Rully , Marvin , Ronald and Romas were the stars of the day having a stellar round and 2 of them leading best nett 1 and 2 – awesome round guys
Not to be left behind the rest of us played some fun golf with lots of laughs on various added stops due to the extra traffic on the course

Going forward , JAWS has now jumped into the waters & greens at CENGKERANG , now making Cengkerang its home course !
SO GOING FORWARD EVERY FRIDAY AT 12 NOON the JAWS game will be at CENGKERANG
Except for any special events – like 12th May being the LONG weekend at Ranchamaya JAWS – FRIDAY , DOGS – SATURDAY AND TEESET SUNDAY or any Public holidays
- JAWs also plans to restart the Tuesday games soon, and these Tuesday rounds will move course to course , more on that soon

Finally, next up , we start to play at our new home from Friday 28th April: Cengkerang with a 12 noon tee off .
