A bright sunny morning greeted the 8 golfers upon arrival at Imperial Golf Club.
The course was in good condition and offered several challenging holes.
The first group started on hole 10, comprised of: Divya, Christophe, Priyaji and Chris. Divya was was coming off a great round at Emeralda but couldn’t sustain his form and ended up with a double par on the 13th hole which put a large dent in his score.
Christophe was going along steadily but had a blow out on the 18th which cost him and his scoring became a bit erratic for the rest of his round.
Meanwhile Priyaji and Chris played a steady front 9. Priyaji was driving so well but then struggled with his second shot and short game resulting in an inconsistent back 9.
Chris continued with his steady golf and managed to shoot below par. Overall the group had fun on a beautiful day!
Group 2 , comprising James Bristow , Simon Reynolds , Tarlok and Otong started on hole 1 in the bright morning sunshine and began with a chip in birdie for James and 3 bogies .
In spite of never having played the course and the gaggle of peacocks on the 5th hole , James continued the form and managed to card his first sub 80 round in Indonesia and his lowest since 1992 , finishing with a 78 (nett 67) to take the top spot .
If it were not for a lost ball on 2 and a watery finish on 4 Simon had the game on the day to challenge the top spots .
Tarlok and Otong both had good runs mid way through each 9 but the tough par 5s proved their hole index ratings for both players .

Finally congratulations to the Super Star of The Day, Mr James Bristow with a Gross 78 and Net 67. runner up, with a Gross 88 and net 71 was Chris and in third place was Priyaji with a Gross 92 and Net 72. Well played everyone !
