Twelve adventurous JAWS golfers made the long trek to the stunning Gunung Geulis G.C and were rewarded with perfect weather and a course in good condition.
Today’s 1st foursome was Fernando, Mohammad Yuris, Supachai and Jim.
Fernando the lumberjack was having an issue with the trees early on the front 9 but seemed to scramble well. Yuris started off nice on the front 9 but the course was tough and Mohammad struggled on the back 9.
Supachai was like a machine on the tees hitting most of the fairways on the course which meant he went on to take 1st place overall with a Net 75.
Jim played well over all, scoring a 76 Net for 2nd place.
Laurie, Chris, Sebastian and Rohit took on the challenge of Gunung Geulis West G.C.
It appeared that Laurie was winning the challenge with the course as he was only 3 over after the first five holes.
However the course bit back and took its revenge by inflicting some high scores on the next seven holes.
Laurie did finish well however to have some respite. The same can be said of both Chris and Rohil who both played well in parts but just had too many blow out holes to seriously challenge the leaders.
Chris in particular made too many 3- putts and Rohit struggled on the par 5’s.
Sebastian is new to golf and found the course difficult but he did show signs that he is likely to improve in the future and made some good drives.
An awesome day out in the mountains for the 4 ball of Warut, Richard , Willi and Divya.
The legendary Willi started badly and the course was not kind to him , but with his will, Willi battled hard and persevered with a smile where many others would have given up.
Richard hit booming drives and precision irons shots all day but his chipping and putting on slippery slopes let him down.
Warut was on song with great drives and some amazing saves after an opening double par and Divya chugged along with the odd par and bogey game with 2 big blow out holes. All in all, great weather , out with mates – awesome day of golf.

Third place was Divya, Net 77.
