Tom is an easy going , always jolly avid sports person who enjoys his golf as much as any other sport, a total gentleman both on and off the course .

He is always up for a good laugh and as a natural sports person he has fast become a mid handicapper Shark ready for a big bite. Now along with Pras , Tom also leads all outstation Jaws Trips besides other admin responsibilities .

Emil as he is lovingly called by all JAWS society member is one of the most loved, liveliest and humblest people in the communityof the JAWS golf society.

He has some amazing stories to share about the various antics of all JAWS players , A true lover of the sport, he a 10 ish handicap index SHARK with a soft bite.

Emil as a JAWS admin leads the Match play as Captain besides also running the weekly JAWS games on most weekdays along with the rest of the admin team.

Dr Ghas or Ghas as he is lovingly called by most golfers is the quintessential maverick golfer, starting out as a Tennis Coach with Gus’s Tennis School he also opened and ran 6 physiotherapy clinics in various parts of Australia and currently running a Hot Spa in the most populated mixed ethnicity demographic of Sydney.

With a high GCC / Lebanese / Aussie er Heritage/Libido, Ghas has 3 adults children and 2 very young boys with a third due soon. 

His ambition is to be a scratch golfer and he has already written his victory speech for a major golf tournament, in planning! As part of the Jaws Admin team, Ghas also leads the 2 man scramble besides hosting Jaws games and other support responsibilities.

Most golfers in Jakarta may have met the ever smiling and mild mannered gentleman bandit Simon. But don’t let that innocent face and smile fool you. With a single digit handicap, smooth as silk swing and criminal short game Simon gives most amateurs a run and a few tips along the course of the game we call Golf.

Simon is an essential cog in the JAWs admin team besides being the JAWS first Admin and cofounder and is the present JAWS Inter league captain besides running the social media channels and marketing aspect for JAWS.

Pras Sutowo as a co-admin of the JAWS golf society handles the JAWS communication network. This is our easy going SHARK, but comes with a firm Bite, only if lines are crossed. Pras enjoys wide ranging conversations on various topics and now that he is armed with a new Ping Driver , his focus is to break 10 handicap soon.

As a JAWS admin, he leads and manages the JAWS whats app groups from admin management, game pairings and scheduling events besides other JAWS admin support duties.

The man with the weirdest golf swing or should we even call it a swing , somehow managing to hit the ball with a slice (he calls it a fade) and yet how it lands in a fairway befools us all , but don’t be fooled by these aspects as he is a sharp fanged shark when it comes to golf with a 11 handicap.

Having travelled the world Divya finally decided to lay roots in Jakarta and run the JAWS scheduling along with Pras amongst other admin duties.

Late in December 2019 , one hazy evening , with Divya drunk on Coca Colas and Chris sozzled on beers together, they co-founded JAW’s.

This happy go lucky english chap who is also a teacher by profession some days, is also your competitive bull when it comes to matchplay.

Chris has travelled the world and finally found his home in Indonesia , now semi-retired (but presently in Tashkent- to return soon) he still assists with some critical admin duties for JAWs.
