A beautiful morning with no crowds and a course in perfect condition provided the right ingredients for the 7 adventurous golfers who had made it out to Kedaton Golf Course.
First group out today was the 3 some of Jim, Tom and Cucu.
Cucu played well but seemed to catch a lot of bunkers which cost her many strokes. Tom seemed to hit the ball well but he just had a tough time scoring. Jim struggled on the front again but found his game on the back nine.
Improving by 8 strokes. Overall a fun round of golf on a Tuesday morning.
Emil, Aidan, Chris and Aleksi started on hole 10 and all played well on the first nine holes with Emil, Gross 45, Chris Gross 43 and both Aidan and Aleksi Gross 42.
Emil was playing with a set of hired clubs but was hitting the ball well. He was on course to shoot around his handicap but had a blow out on the last hole with a double par.
Chris was consistent apart from going into the water on several occasions which cost him.
Aidan played well too apart from a few bad holes and had some excellent drives and on another day would have made many birdies rather than just one birdie on hole 11.
However the day belonged to the ‘Flying Finn’ who shot Gross 39 on the back nine including a birdie on hole 2, par 5 and finished with Net 69 to take first place. Some great driving and consistent iron play made for a good round of golf for Aleksi.
