12 JAWS players headed West on the Jakarta-Merak Toll for the suburbs of Gading Serpong and the well manicured fairways and greens of Gading Raya Golf Club. The sun shone bright and the sky was blue, perfect weather condition for a Friday morning game of Golf.
Was it the weather? the New Year Good Vibes? or was it just the right breakfast? as there was some low scoring by the Sharks with the 3 winners of Best Nett all going sub 70. Congratulations to Michael Muller for shooting a Nett 62 with a Gross 89, this was Michaels first time breaking 90 and what a great way to start his 2022 Golfing!
Admin Pras, and proud father of his second child just before Christmas, posted a sizzling Nett 66, Gross 80. Posting 3 birdies on any course is impressive and if he keeps knocking on the door his first sub-80 round will come very soon, keep it up Pras!
Outstation Maestro and Rest of the World (JAWS World Cup) Captain, Willi G, posted a solid Nett 69, Gross 85 also getting is 2022 Golfing year off to a good start and in the right direction, leading by example as he takes his ROW Team to Cengkareng end of the month to take on Team Asia in the singles and final round.
Our ladies, JAWS contingent, of 4 players were as cheerful as ever: Mi Hwa, Mega, Stephanie and Sari, with Sari Smith continuing her fine form with a Nett 71 placing just outside the money. Emil ‘Elvis’ Marcelo hit a 86 Gross and is showing signs of regaining his 2021 form which led him towards being crowned the Hammerhead Champion Round 1, in the first half of 2021.
Great to have the ball rolling in 2022 set those Golfing resolutions for the year Sharks and go for it!
