12 JAWS players headed to Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Cengkareng Golf Club on a Hot, Dry and Tropical Tuesday morning for their JAWS 7-8am Tee times. The course had dried out and was in much better conditions then the previous weeks wet and windy game, after a week of some warmer, dryer weather in Jakarta. The hot weather produced some red hot scoring on the day!
Cengkareng being the venue for the 2022 JAWS MP series, with two matches being played this event: Srinivas Murthy was just to strong posting a Gross 77 and Nett 63 to bet Jens Henning 10 & 8, chin up Jens you picked the wrong day to play him, well played Murthy! 9 under Nett is very solid golfing.
Lok Budianto vs Fernando was a red hot fixture, with Lok a 4 handicap playing his A-game and posting a Gross 76. Nett 72 on the way to winning 5 & 3 over Fernando, who could not get out of 3rd gear all round. Well payed Lok! A well deserved best nett 2 at the same time.
JAWS Admins Willi G and Willie N both posted very respectable rounds of nett 72’s to jump onto the leaderboard, with Willie N posting 36 for one nine, rumour has it! Well played gents!
As expected Cengakreng is proving to be a popular battle ground for all JAWS 2022 handicap matches, a reminder to all MP contestants all group round matches must be completed before the end of April so get you games in.
