JAWS at BSD

16 JAWS players teed it up on a midweek Wednesday 7/8am to enjoy Damai Indah BSD’s Wednesday promo rate!  The Jack Nicklaus as always was in mint condition living up its reputation as one of Indonesia’s Top 5 Golf Courses. The midweek game is becoming a JAWS regular outing as the opportunity to play such a great course should not be missed. 

The Play:

Jeremy (no more moustache) Oberoi and Willy Noronha used their length off the tee to good use posting 2 under handicap nett 70’s to top the leaderboard this week, playing to their strengths and taking home some pocket money. Gaurav ‘Shanker’ Shirke, handed in a genuine single digits score posting a nett 73, no shame at all on a tough layout like BSD, and was first to admit BSD is becoming his favourite Golf course. Stefanus ‘Pak Steve’ hit his usual bombs off the tee and sunk some crucial putts on his way to a commendable nett 74 to prop up the leader board and cover his caddy tip for the day.

Long may the Wednesday promo at BSD continue, as recent turnouts have suggested that the course is already a firm favourite amongst JAWS Sharks, and the perfect midweek getaway for some weekday Golfing acitivity.

A gentle reminder for JAWS players to get in contact with their 2022 Match-play group members, with around 5 weeks left to complete your pending fixtures in order to qualify for the knock-out rounds. Its Cengkareng next Tuesday 22nd on the schedule so book up your next matchplays!

Also, for all those who did not play in Rd #1 of the JAWS CONNECT ENERGY CHARITY LEAGUE at Cengkareng, Round 2 is coming up in 3 weeks at Jagorawi Old Course, on Friday 1^st April, so find yourself a suitable and competitive partner, and sign them up for the season before someone else does.
