24 JAWS Sharks making up 12 2-player scramble teams amongst 6 flights, tee’d it up Friday noon for Round 3 of the JAWS Connect Energy Charity League Scramble supporting our chosen charity: Yayasan Lestari Sayang Anak. The perfect way to kick start a weekend! Supported by our drinks sponsor San Miguel Indonesia.
The Play:
12 teams of Sharks swam down the fairways on this Friday afternoon enjoying a Cengakreng in great condition with its greens especially running good. The scramble format is always a fun round with less weight on an individuals and more emphasis on team play and fun.
The combination of MP semi-finalist Subash and young buck Aryan clicked on the day posting a handy nett 66.7 to take 3rd place, well played gents. Enjoy your crate of beers!
The Divya and Gaurav combination once again was effective, with Gaurav’s shot making skills and Divya’s short game it’s a solid combination as the dynamic pairing recorded yet another podium finish, and with Divya being tee-total, Gaurav’s fridge is over flowing with cans of San Miguel. Rumour has it he is hosting a house party soon 🙂
Cengkareng Club members Willie Noronha and Jeremy Oberoi used their local knowledge to good use by posting the best team score on the day: Nett 65.5 narrowly beating the 2nd place team to take 1st place. A great round indeed gentlemen, well played!
