8 JAWS Sharks gathered at Damai Indah’s BSD, the Jack Nicklaus signature course, in support of their legendary Wednesday Golf promo deal. Having hosted the Asian Development Tour’s: OB Golf Invitational the previous week, the course was in great nick albeit a wee bit damp after all the unusually wet weather conditions we have been experiencing in Jakarta as of late.

A warm welcome to first timer and new JAWS social golfer GJ from Malaysia now residing in Jakarta equipped with a John Rahm-esque short back swing yet still generating lots of power and speed for some 250+ bombs… look forward to having you in more future games with JAWS GJ! A warm welcome back to Aryan Gambhir, who has been training his Golf game intensively and studying at university back in India, and enjoying some golf whilst back in Jakarta on vacation. His hard work is paying off and progressing well with a solid all round game to post a nett 72 and secure a tied for 3rd place finish on the day. Our resident Canadian, Colin Sifton also put together a tidy round of golf posting a nett 72 himself to share tied-3rd nett with Aryan, well played Colin!
MP 2021 Champion, Hari Tian, fresh from his family vacation to Spain, had a spring to his step and was gliding down the fairways on route to a nett 69, thanks to a impressive round of well struck drives and a series of long putts knocking off several strokes to his end score. Well played Hari!
Admin Simon, fresh from his hiking trip up Gunung Slamet in Central Java, found something in the mountain spring water, bottled it and brought it back to Jakarta as he posted his best round in a few months a Gross 75, nett 69. Attacking the course with his Driver, and firing at the pins on the par 3’s, to score 2 birdies, with his putter denying him a whole lot more. Well played Simon!
Despite very overcast conditions and some light rain, a great Wednesday morning for social golfing, long may the Wednesday promo continue.
