There’s not many better place for a Friday Happy Hour than the 19th hole at Permata Sentul. To accomplish that, 14 Sharks set off to attack the first 18 holes just after noon. Divya is turning into the Megalodon of the Sharks as he continues his terror finishing with a net 68 and, once again, top of the JAWS Leaderboard. A big thanks to all who make it out.
Pras, Simon, Tarlok and Robson teed off from hole 1.
Robson, just back from his homecoming trip to Brazil, looks like he needs to work off the rust of not playing golf for a significant time. Most of his shots were erratic but he managed to putt very well which helped him get three pars on the round. Robson finished the round with a nett score 77.
Simon, always the consummate professional, hit the ball very accurately for most of the round. He even managed to tap a very professional looking putt on the 11th hole par 3 that made him look like he belonged the PGA Tour. Simon finished the round with a nett 73. Tarlok played very consistent the whole round. Especially on the back 9 where he scored 6 pars.
Which helped him with a nett score of 70 and winning the 2nd best nett score for the round. Pras, as always, relied heavily on his driver to send the ball flying to the fairway.
His putting was detrimental to his game and kept his score at least one stroke more than he should have got from almost each hole. He finished with a net 74 for the day.
Chris, Laurie, Randy and Mike had a fun round of golf today. Randy was on form with par after par and a Gross 40 on the front 9.
He wavered a little on the back 9 with a Gross 44, just 2 over and a solid round. Both Mike and Chris were also consistent with both playing just above their handicaps.
Mike shot a gross 44 on the back nine and Chris shot a gross 45 but had a double par on the last hole which cost him.
Laurie was just not on form despite making many good drives. Overall an enjoyable day out!
Widyanto, Hari Taufik and Febian played in the same flight. All played close to their handicaps.
Hari Taufik played well on the front 9 with a gross 40 and made 5 pars. Widy was consistent with a 45 gross on the front 9 and 46 gross on the back 9. Febian played mostly bogie golf with a few good pars and some doubles.
The three ball group consisting of Divya, Aidan and Dea had a fun day out and all of them played well with Divya taking first place, Dea in joint third place and Aidan just outside the prizes.
The in-form Divya continues to play below his current handicap and shot 81 Gross, 68 Net including a birdie on hole 12.
Dea shot an impressive 74 Gross with 3 birdies whilst Aidan, fresh from the UK, played well making 3 birdies and a Gross 88, Net 74. Some very impressive scoring in this group.

SINGGASANA JAWS WORLD CUP 2021 FIRST ROUND FEBRUARY 5TH , SENTUL HIGHLANDS
The JAWS WORLD CUP will be an annual competition between a JAWS team from Asia Vs a JAWS team from Rest of the World.
1ST MATCH – FORMAT SINGLES– 20 players a side , In singles, each match features one player from each team. The player with the lower score on each hole wins that hole. If their scores are tied, the hole is halved.
The competition will be contested every quarter and with a total of 4 rounds (one played every quarter) at the same venue with the format inspired from the Ryder Cup format of Four ball , Foursomes and Singles matches.

February 5th 2021 – singles matches – 20 players a side – two points per match
April 9th 2021- foursome matches – 20 players a side – two points each per match
August 6th 2021– four ball matches 20 players a side- two points each per match
